The Getzy app collects and uses location information, including precise location and background location data, to support employee field visit tracking, client pickup visits, return visits after servicing, route monitoring, fuel calculation, and employee performance evaluation.

The app may access the employee’s device location while the app is in use and, in some cases, when the app is minimized or running in the background during active field work, client visits, pickup visits, return visits, or other company-assigned service tasks.

Location access is used for the following purposes:

• Tracking company employees during assigned field visits
• Monitoring client pickup and return visits after servicing
• Route monitoring and travel verification
• Fuel and travel expense calculation based on distance travelled
• Employee attendance, field activity, and performance evaluation
• Operational reporting and service monitoring
• Improving service quality, accountability, and operational efficiency

Background location access is only used during active working hours or active company-assigned field tasks where continuous tracking is required for employee visit tracking, route verification, fuel calculation, and operational monitoring.

Users may disable location permissions from their device settings; however, some employee field tracking, pickup, return, fuel calculation, and reporting features may not work properly without location access.

Location information is securely processed and is not sold to unauthorized third parties.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information through third party products on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Background location tracking is only active when work-related tasks are running or during active working hours where tracking is required for company operations.

Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider.

If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, your mobile provider’s terms may still apply, including data and roaming charges.

We may update the app from time to time. The app is currently available on Android & iOS.
